Lori Gemmiti was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. She is an animal lover with a passion for the outdoors and travelling. She enjoys family time, hiking, camping, snow shoeing and loves a good adventure.

Lori’s first experience with Yoga was Moksha Yoga Scarborough. It was the start of a new chapter of her life, focusing on spirituality and personal wellness centered on the practice of yoga. For Lori, yoga evolved from a hobby to a passion, now a career and her lifelong calling.

Lori has received her RYT 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga from Ananda Yoga Aurora and is registered with Yoga Alliance Canada (CYA). Lori has practiced many types such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Bikram, Hot Yoga, Power Yoga, Soul Flow, Aroma detox Flow, Yin Yoga, Iyengar, Restorative Yoga, Jivamukti & Jivamukti Live. She has completed many workshops such as Chakras & Mudras, Anatomy 1-4, Business, Pranayama & 8 Limbs, Kids Yoga and Prenatal Yoga and is looking forward to extending her practice into her teaching.

Lori’s regular style is Hatha Flow & Hot Flow. This powerful, energetic, playful flowing class has a strong emphasis on breath. Her style allows beginners, intermediate and advanced students to participate and be challenged in the same class. Hot Flow features a heated room to help cleanse the body and warm the muscles. Lori’s Hatha Flow & Hot Flow will torch your calories, tone, strengthen and purify your body. You will leave class feeling renewed, with a clear mind and a sense of empowerment. Hatha Flow & Hot Flow classes are for ALL LEVELS and accessible to everyone. Being familiar with yoga postures is beneficial. Available to teach: Studio Classes (60min, 75min, & 90min lengths), Private In-home, Corporate/Business, Group classes and Parties.
